Mag Fed (FSR incl.) Bullpups?

So, am I the only one who dreams/wants a MagFed Bullpup? Maybe something based on the EMEK / MG100, and Dye DAM mags?

The obvious benefit would be a shorter overall length (especially with longer barrels and/or suppressors).

What do you think?

Problem, at least for me, is that bullpup markers don't have anywhere for onboard air. Bullpup is meant to be light and tight, and having a remote connected to my back sort of ruins that. With the right design though, I could look past a remote.

I like my magfed set up like a traditional paintball marker so I have always removed stocks to avoid mask interference, bottomline on the mg100 is perfect. Bullpup would just add a permanent stock so for me meh.

SRU is,was (not sure) making printed drop in bullpup stocks for the Maxtact TGR markers.

With the variety of custom grip frames out for the T8.1 and T9.1 I'm surprised I haven't seen a bullpup lower.

I love bullpups... i dream of having a magfed bullpup.... but when reality hits you realize that your mask is going to interfere with the marker, so it becomes an inappropriate tool IMO.

If the mask issue could be resolved, then shorter length marker with a longer barrel.

Nope.

Bullpups look cool but are blocks with no ergonomics for paintball gear.

I love me a short rifle setup though.

I can see that but, I was thinking that a lot of the current magfed markers (MG100 aside) have inline stocks and sight rails. That, and for FSRs most folks use sights/optics, often with risers that prevent or minimize mask interference. My FN303 rises only a half inch or so from the stock to the pic. rail.

Depending on how much air one would want to carry, I could see an under-barrel 13c.i. or other 2" diameter tank working out. The interesting thing about something that uses a pneumatic or electronic trigger is that the trigger doesn't have to be anywhere near the breach.

That's actually where a stacked tube design could be desireable. You could easily have the barrel and a mini-bolt at the rail level, and the valve and air chambers below it.

There isn't currently a good design today without making the bolt really long, or having the magwell far forward. A vertical valve to the bolt would work.

In this way you could mold the body to work well with a mask and have the bolt and barrel on the same upper level.

I bet it does, I was just thinking it would be an awesome look. Then I realized just how far back the bolt handle would be...
