The barrel is a mini CF Stiffi with a tacticool tip hehe. The trigger shoe feels pretty nice on the trigger, tried it with both on and off...on felt right!

I agree that the gun felt better with the trigger shoe on. The trigger was just a little to thin and I thought it got uncomfortable after a while of playing with it. That didn't happen after I put on the trigger shoe.

I believe the original Retro was designed with trigger shoes in mind, which is why it used a Phantom width trigger. The mistake was making the trigger look so nice, which meant people didn't want to cover it with a shoe.

FYI, 68 Special trigger shoes fit the new guns.
