If the rain stays away I'll be testing the D3fy level 1 this upcoming Sunday. I'll test it with 2 or 3 different guns so we can get a decent review. I'll test it on a gentler pump (S6.5), magfed (Bolt) and a higher pressure pump (Super Stocker.

Sounds great. I'm looking forward to it.

D3fy level 2

I've bought a couple cases now of the level 2 and the consistency really stands out, especially comparing it to HK premium, GI 2 star and Valken infinity. The paint has no dimples and the roundess is unmatched at it's price point. I stored a couple bags for 3 months, flipping the bags ever so often and didn't see a single dimple.

Currently have a case of level 1 and a bag of level 3, can't wait to test them out. Initial once over from the level 1 is that I see no dimples and pretty consistent shape although I haven't opened the bags

Another follow up review...

This last weekend we went out to my parent's place in WV to do some skiing... Alas, the weather gawds decided that 45-55* and rain would be in store for us, so the skiing was bad enough we only went a half day. That left us the rest of Saturday and Sunday to do other things... Saturday turned into ice skating on he covered rink and then dinner and some bar time and drinking... That left Sunday.

The temperature was around 45*f and the paint was absolutely perfect! I could hit the 75 foot pistol silhouette with every ball. The performance was extremely consistent, the paint broke on the paper target, over a 1/4" plywood backer and did NOT break when dropped from waist height. We repainted the propane tank at my sister's place... It is now a modeled yellow and white

TL;DR... The paint performs flawlessly at 45*f. 25*f was simply too cold for this batch.

I got my Amazon case of level 1 in.

One ball broke in 1 of the 4 bags. The bags are vacuum sealed and the offending paintball was easily removed and cleaned up.

It was rainy in New England all weekend so I didn't get a chance to test in the field.

I shot about 100 rounds in my backyard while I was tuning my guns. Because I was actively tuning I'm not going to comment on the consistency yet.

I go no breaks or rollouts using a .680 Lapco barrel.

Fill is reasonably thick, but I would prefer it to be a bit brighter.

Shell quality seemed pretty nice, reminiscent of the shells that a lot of paint had back in the late 90s & early 2000s. More of a "dry" shell than a waxy smooth shell.

There are a few dimples, but not over the top.

As soon as I take the paint out to play I'll write a real review.

Those sound like good previews to the full reviews to come.

Jonny, how does the L1 do in a drop test?

I haven't done that yet. Is there a "standard" test?

I wouldn't call it a "standard" test, but this seems to be pretty in-depth. Mostly, people tend to drop them from about six feet and see how many break.

its below freezing where i live, how can i buy paintballs online and not have them get ruined before they get to me. let alone the fact that they will be sitting in a cold amazon van then they will sit on my doorstep and get dimpled and brittle outside.
