Bob Long Autococker Body Kit

SOLD

Up for grabs is a body kit from a Bob Long Signature Series Autococker. Beautiful PK Selective green marble anodize with some scratches, but it's in overall good shape for its age.

The gun comes as pictured with the body, back block, faded ASA (that's how you know it's original!), and front block. There is a front block screw with orings and the ASA is mounted with its oring, but other than that, the body is empty. I repaired the rear frame threads a couple years ago with a Component Concepts stainless steel threaded insert. I like the result better than a helicoil. Plenty strong, but removable if needed! The remaining threads are in good shape.

As far as wear goes, I tried to get it pictured. There are some scratches on the passenger side of the body, but they are not deep. There are idiot marks around the timing hole on the top from a short allen wrench and there are some marks around the detent threads. There is some breech wear and some small marks here and there consistent with a 20+ year old body.

I do not have the shroud or bird cage. I do have a silver d/f power regulator I can include for a little bit more, and I might have a 90's era long shot barrel, same story as the reg.

Please post or PM if you have any questions.

Price: SOLD $200 shipped in the US of A SOLD

Pictures!

Beautiful cocker body. Here's a hot tip to the future owner though. Don't use tape on the feedneck to hold in a loose hopper. The green will peel off of the neck. I had this happen to my razorback with the same Anno

That's a sad story, but I'm sure the future owner will appreciate the tip!

No bird cage makes me sad but it's still sexy.

I had one in this exact anno but sold it a while back.

It makes me sad as well. With as many of those things I saw break back in the 90s, I'm surprised there are still any bird cages around at all!

Probably not this time. I am usually open to trades, but I'm moving this (and other stuff) in an effort to clear out the excess. Trading usually doesn't help with that....
