Opus revolver

Anyone trying one of these out? If so would you share your thoughts on getting the velocity up on it. Once I start work on mine I'll post some pictures and videos of what I'm doing to get it up to a useable velocity. Thanks again

Any ideas

"The Opus revolver kit is a 6 shot, 0.68cal, First Strike Ready paintball conversion kit.
This kit takes features from the very popular Khaos revolver kits and makes them even better! Such as an extended, removable hinge and two piece cylinder.

This kit was made due to the high number of requests. However, as predicted, the factory Crosman revolvers don’t have enough power to shoot 0.68 projectiles at “usable” velocities. Without modification, the expected velocity will be less than 200fps."

Just seeing if anyone has tried any mods on one
Have some thoughts of shimming the hammer spring
Lighten the valve spring
One problem I see is the airway needs to be opened up
Safe bet getting the velocity where I need it will kill my efficiency will be killed but it's only 6 shots

This kit is very nice. Like all of his products, it is well designed and reasonably priced. The first one of us, to find a way to enlarge the valve volume, will be a hero, and possibly showered in requests and small coins.
The newer 357 with the black molded grips and new style valve, works better than the original 357. Mods for increased velocity are here in the 3357 discussion threads.
Because of the size required for .68 cal, it does not hinge open. The up side is the latch is not required. So no more problems with that stupid piece of rubber failing. There is a loading port at the front of the cylinder. You must score the inside of the cylinders to create a ball detent.
Can be used as a CQB backup, but not very useful as a primary, at the moment.

I recently bought 2 modified TR50 pistols. One mod caused the cylinder not to rotate consistently. Replacement parts are not readily available. What to do? How about trying to mate the Opus to the TR50 engine. Fresh CO2 fires at 320-350. Might move a 68 at 270. Any thoughts?
