officially debt free

As of this morning I am officially debt free. no mortgage, no car payments, no outstanding CC debt, no student loans. The only thing that could be considered a debt at this point is the cellphone contract for the next 2.5 years.

It feels good

Double FYI for paintball rules there should be no "offer" of surrender, its either mandatory surrender at X distance when guy is behind you or no surrender and you get shot in the booty. "offer" of surrender makes for some ridiculous and dangerous john woo tactics.

Wicked. I have to get my crap sorted out. I have started looking at budgeting software to help with my impulsive nature.

I was there in December, but did not have a house. Back to having a mortgage again now but looking forward to being in your situation again soon.

28 years to go! I did just finish paying off my appliances for the house last night though so that felt good

Congrats I love the feeling of being debt free.

The next goal you should try to get to is being cash flow positive without a job. That is the ultimate feeling for freedom( I am still working on that).

Congrats! I love that feeling. Granted I split a house with my mom at the moment but with that said I paid off all my student debt 4 years ago have no CC debt and am saving like a fiend so I can go back to school for paralegal. Not owing anyone a damn dime and knowing when the school bill drops I can just pay it straight cash without loans is very liberating
