Worst moment ever was when I started listening to rise against. I felt like I sold out, but my music choices have broadened and I do appreciate their style. I just watched two really cool documentaries. First was one nine nine four it is about the rise of punk into main stream music and how much loot Brett was getting back then. The second was another state of mind, a documentary about a tour with the youth brigade, but their opening act was a very young social distortion. Mike wrote another state of mind during the taping and it chronicles social Distortion's progress as a start up band just as much as it forces you to listen to the youth brigade. If you like social d then the movie is a must.

Hahaha.

I go to about a show a week or every two weeks. Baltimore has a great punk scene so there are always good shows going on.

I like it all; Punk, street punk, pop punk, Ska, Oi, hardcore, folk punk

I agree Great documentary.

Hahaha.

I actually thought about the end of SLC Punk as I was typing that…

I still primarily listen to punk music, but don't go to shows anymore. I don't vandalize public property anymore. I don't wear a mohawk anymore. I have four kids a wife and a full time job.

About 70% of what I listen to is punk rock, specifically street punk and melodic hardcore. Bad Religion, Pennywise, Street Dogs, Rancid, Good Riddance, The Offspring, Only Crime, Anti-Flag, Dag Nasty, Reagan Youth, Adolescents, Dropkick Murphys, Oxymoron, The Business, and the list goes on.

I laugh when I hear "punk is dead". Punk has faded from the foreground and popularity it enjoyed in the '90's, but it's alive and well and won't be going away any time soon.

Greg Graffin of Bad Religion wrote this treatise on the essence of punk. Punk has little to do with mohawks, studded jackets, and vandalizing property. The true soul of punk is much, much deeper.

Greg Graffin – A Punk Manifesto - all i do is punk

Dead Kennedy's!

I used to spend a lot of time in a Milwaukee Punk Bar in the mid 80s when stationed at Great Mistakes, IL. I had a lot of fun and met some interesting people [girls] along the way.
