There's a whole genre based around using old, obsolete technology to make music. If sound comes out of it, it's been in music somewhere.
In fact, I just spent my month's free cash on FL Studio... with which I'll be using free plugins to make sound like every old garage-sale system from the C64 to Gameboy to SNES.
Sigh.
Though after this guy, I think I may dig through the garage for any old battery-operated toys (that still work) and record them, and incorporate that...

Yeah I do enjoy the circuit-bending lofi stuff created using hacked toys. As someone with very limited exposure to music creation and electronics, but who enjoys and appreciates both immensely I really love watching and listening to this kind of stuff.

This guy inspired me to circuit bend a furby and then jam the guts from an old distortion pedal into said furby.
