not rifled. why the hell would you want that? not only does the rifling not impart any spin on the ball its gonna cost way more money and make your efficiency worst than a smooth bore barrel.

Tjanks for the tip

ill have an apex on the end anyways right so i guess even if it did work the apex would counter the spin right..

yes the apex would give the ball counter-spin
remember, the apex WILL NOT give you any more distance
it will give you a flatter trejectory, but the ball will pretty much fall out of the air at the end.
also, if you try to make 'trick shots' with the apex, you'll concentrate on that so much that you'll either do that the entire game and not have much fun, or eventually you'll get tired of it, quit using the apex, and regret the $$ you dumped on it

just save yourself the trouble and listen to everyone else here. forget the apex, just get a good barrel and save some cash

idk I like the apex, good for shooting people out in snake when they're hidden.

My issue with using an apex tip on a non-apex ready barrel is that it was never consistent for me. When I put the tip on any power setting I could not count on my shots to go where I needed them to.

I'll be more specific about what i expect from the apex and could you tell me if they're unrealistic?

1. straighten the balls path and increase accuracy
2. allow me to use a 2-4x rifel scope for short range sniping i want to use it by aiming and finding the area around the crosshairs by using the apex to carve the balls path towards the center.

that's all is the apex any good for that and i know all about scopes the pros and cons but if you want to chip in about the scopes please do.

also i know about the masks and the lens so i'm gonna use something with about 2-3 inches of eye relief.

thanks

scope, not so much. you really cant leave it on all the way all the time. when you shoot it in normal mode the ball actually shoots down pretty sharply (on max) and its practically useless if theres anything higher than waist height between you and the target for the first 25ish feet. I also think that you'd lose the ball in the scope no matter what you do due to the trajectory.

I wouldn't snip any more than 25 feet and i would be using it shooting uphill so i don't think to much stands in the way it'll mostly be used against tower campers.

i was thinking to have it set to 20 feet and set it up at the target range for accuracy then go to the field and use it on a target about 25 feet away.

any thoughts on taht?

why use a scope at 25'?

I have to ask... how much have you played?
don't take that the wrong way, just wondering
