I do have one objection to your classification system.

You list that masks under $40 are all "entry level" and thusly will have fogging issues and need to be replaced. This is simply wrong. Heck, ANS has a Thermal JT mask on sale atm for $19.

Here are 3 that i just instantly found on ANS.

Helix $31

Invader $32

MI-7 $37

Personally i have had an Invader style since i started. Granted the earlier models weren't Thermal, however, i have had and still use the thermal version (the one linked) for YEARS. It has great full face/forehead/ear protection. I've also more recently got myself several MI-7's as the lenses are much easier to remove/clean. They are also great masks. A bit weaker than the Invader on the ears, but still better than most of the masks you name in the mid/pro categories.

It appears OP is no longer active..last post was in 2011...so if mod could maybe add this info into the OP or something, i think it would be beneficial as the OP is no longer accurate in its information.

Yes, and i was saying that the guy who posted it appeared to be no longer active as he hasn't posted anything since 2011...apparently that was too confusing, my apologies.

Just stating it has some glaring inaccuracies, and should be updated as it is a sticky.

Yeah, the prices are out of date. I just stopped over to my local shop yesterday to pick up a new tank and mask.
Ended up only dropping $50 on a new pair of JT ProFlex, not 70 or 80.

Curious though what makes V Force bad though, I've been out of the loop. Are they just not around or are they an inferior product?

They are fine masks, that's his opinion. I love my Profilers.

"Thermal coating" rather than true dual-pane thermal lenses on everything but the Grill. They did make them for the others for a short bit, though.

But yeah, this info is way outdated, probably shouldn't be stickied anymore.

That's not true. Profilers come with dual pane lenses as well now.

Edit; hmm, maybe it is true. They must have changed that within the last few months.

The three profilers I got in November all came with clear dual pane lenses.
