What kind of paint to buy

Hey guys,

Relatively new to the sport (13 year hiatus).

What kind of paint would you suggest for a Bob Long Vice (Gen5)?

I don't know any of the "good" and "mediocre" manufacturers anymore. When I stopped playing, Autocockers were used as the best and most accurate semi-automatic markers.

Personally i'm a fan of Valken's high end brand, Redemption. But i'm a limited paint kinda guy, so i like my stuff to hit and break on the first shot. jmho.

Valken Redemption (woods/brush) or Redemption PRO (everywhere else)

TL;DR hole size controls how fast balls get spent

Pretty much 3/4 of the stuff that was awesome 13 years ago has been reformulated by other companies and suck now, find stuff you haven't seen 13 years ago lol.

But yea, valken's redemption and grafitti are pretty good.

I don't always play pump, but when I do, I prefer a rotor.....stay agg my friends.

Valken Graphitti has been very good to my inner paint snob.

The high end paint they carry at my field is Marballizer and it's been great for me this summer. Very consistent breaks and that's important when you're pumping! Bounces drive me crazy.

Evil is good, ultra evil is better
Allstar is pretty good but seems to run extremely small now. Occasional roll outs on a .679 insert
Marbs are decent, but not half as good as they used to be.
Valken Redemption is great, Graffiti is pretty good too
GI 3 star shot pretty good for me the one time I tried it

Brass and Wood Fan
Graffiti is my go to paint when I can shoot BYOP. I've also shot Draxxas paint which was quite good. Not a huge fan of GI paint I think it's the 1 star my field was using so the low end stuff the problem for me being a pump player is that is tiny like .675 to just hold it from rolling out
