playing with my private parts?

So I am thinking about picking up a grip frame from Luke's custom and they do not come anodized. Is there any problem with playing with it while I save up the cash to get my mag anodized?

You can with out problem, anodizing also forms a harden layer of oxidation that give the surface some damage resistance. When the time comes to anodize it will just need to be really cleaned. What Tracker said really.

The annodization process creates an oxidization layer.

Keep a light coat of oil on the aluminum and you will be fine. I have polished raw aluminum on some of my markers and real firearms for a "chrome" look and it has held up for years. Raw aluminum does scratch easier than anodized aluminum but it buffs out easy.

I use mine raw... I haven't gotten around to having it annodized. It has a sort of brushed patina.

cool, I was worried that if it wasn't anodized my sweat and the paint from paintballs would make it corrode faster and pit. Sounds like that is not the case and it should be fine unanodized for a while.

Yeah, I've been playing with an unanodized grip on my K-Framed PMI-1 for 8 years now and there isn't a single stain or blemish.

If you're really worried, apply a coat of Pledge furniture polish for a thin layer of wax protection before a day of play.
