No. There will be an explosion. Heat+ pressure+oil = boom.
This is exactly how a diesel engine works.

Not disagreeing, but only asking because the burst disc is designed to release the pressure before the tank reaches it's burst point. But I suppose with such a rapid increase in pressure this wouldn't matter. Anyone have a link to an instance of one of these tanks exploding?

It's not something that the burst valve will be able to handle. It's creating an actual fire explosion, and the tank is not made to handle anything like that.

Right, the increase in pressure would be too rapid. That's understandable.
