Event update

OK guys, we're less than a month away and I wanted to give you all an update as to what's in store.

First, I apologize for not being more active in this thread. With CCI closing shop I have been focused on buying up whatever inventory I can. It's been a pretty big financial investment, and a rather difficult proposition given the ever-changing status of what is left of his inventory. Hopefully I will be able to keep our players in parts (and maybe even guns) at least for the next couple of years.

Now for the update...
First, I will be postponing the raffle until Stocktoberfest. While Mike at CCI has generously donated one of the last custom Phantoms ever made to the raffle, I haven't had the time to secure prize donations from our other sponsors. I will be bringing the prize Phantom to the game so players can ogle it though. Here is a pic of it as it is currently configured (though that may change if I can get in more parts)...

Yes, that is Mike's signature as well as the Phantom "shooter guy" from the Stock Classic logo laser etched on the side of the gun!

Second, the BBQ food truck will be in attendance BOTH DAYS!!! If you were there last year, then you'll remember how awesome that food was!

Third, in addition to the usual camp out on Saturday night, camping will also be available Friday night and even Sunday night to make it easier for players to attend the event.

Lastly, as mentioned, play on Saturday is included in the price of the weekend event, but will be Field Paint Only. Luckily for everyone, the owner at AG is a fanatic about providing quality paint at his field. For those that don't know, he has installed a massive humidor in his on-site shop to store all of his paint. (I honestly don't know of any other paintball field that has gone to this length to keep their paint fresh).
Paint prices (for Saturday only)
GI Sports Custom Blend ("Infinity Blend") will be $55/case (this is a special event price as it's normally $65/case) and $15/bag
GI Sports 5-star will be $65/case (this is a special event price as it's normally $75/case) and $20/bag
According to the field owner, the Infinity Blend is very good quality - almost comparable to the 5-star

And, as always with my main events, Sunday is BYOP.

And there you have it. With less than a month to go it's time to get excited and spread the word. Let's make this event the biggest ever and bring as many friends as you can!

I'm hoping to have all of my CCI parts in before the game, but that may not happen. I'd love to be able to provide parts for whoever needs them at the game. Here are a couple of shots of the first half of my order...

The guns shown above will be the very last brand new CCI Phantoms available - ever. I'm betting they won't be available for too long.

Plans for me unfortunately have changed. A unexpected surgery means I can not play. But since AG is 15-20 Minutes from my house I will show up Sunday to hang out some. Damn ive been looking forward to the game for months then this.

I'm driving down Friday! Two days of Stock class play is pretty dang hard to resist, but I'm not sure my liver can take three nights of your 'murican likker!

Already on the hunt for some Dunkaroos for those in need. Any other Canuck treats you guys want? Of course I will be bringing real beer and that boiled tree sap you all seem to like, but if there is some other thing you guys want let me know!
