My potato is a fireHD10 tablet. I don't think I was recording in HD though. I'm still learning all it's tricks.

I put in another couple of hours at the field today. Started working on the office area clean up/mods. I got a few of the bigger rooms cleaned up. I'm just trying to reduce the amount of trip hazards in there and build a couple of bunkers in the process. A few more workdays and I should have it looking pretty good in there.

another weekend maybe. Girlfriend decided she wanted to "get snowed in" at my place.

Yeah, that was probably an option with better perks.

Just some interesting facts about the field location:

Gallipolis, Ohio = less than 30 mins
Parkersburg, WV = about 1hr
New Martinsvile = about 2hrs
Frostburg, MD = less than 4hrs
Blacksburg, VA = less than 4hrs
Bowie, MD = about 6hrs
Huntsville, AL = just barely over 8hrs
SoCal = google maps says "no routes found"

This Saturday's weather forecast is calling for a high of 50 and rain. Perfect for indoor-ish games. It's a 3 day weekend to boot. Any body wanna play some paintball?

Interesting...
My wife has family in Ohio, and this might be kinda on the way. I see a road trip in our future.

By the by, how did you come to have this awesome facility? I'd love to find something like this myself

(copy and pasted most of this from a PM)

It's a derelict building. But, the good thing is, that there is no "No Trespassing" signs. The local high school kids go there and punch holes in walls. So far, they have left my bunkers alone and unharmed.

I stumbled across this place last year, when I was searching for new places to play woodsball. This past hunting season made me move indoors. Now, we can play, rain or shine and not worry about the hunters.

CO2 fills = $2 a bottle(any size up to 24oz) and not located on-site yet(local fire extinguisher place does the fills) . (That should change this summer. I'm going to purchase a 50lb siphon tank to lug around)

Paint = BYOP or can be bought local (at same fire extinguisher place) for $10 per bag of 500(Empire Heat at the moment) Also, just found out, a local bowling alley is selling paint and doing CO2 refills.(still gathering info on that)

Anyways, that's the quick summary. Let me know, if you have any questions or concerns.

Well..... I've got good news, bad news and then just a lil' good news.

I'll start with the good news first. I have about half of the office area cleaned and in good shape.

The bad news is.....I just met the man putting in a recycling business there.

The "just a lil'" good news is....He said I "can use it", until they start renovating the building(in 1-2 months). So....game on for now.

Nooo!!! Not after just finding out about this!

Time to conjure up a voodoo hex.

Do you guys have other options down there? Woods anywhere?

I know right! Did I jinks myself posting here? I was just trying to share the wealth.

I don't know if a voodoo hex will stop the demise of this wonderful paintball location. But, maybe it will delay it enough, for us to have a couple MCB get togethers there.

As for other options. There's plenty of woods to play in. It's just that during hunting season, it can get a bit dangerous.
