I managed to have a small local turnout yesterday, just 5 players, counting me. One of my cousins and I arrived a little early to get things ready. We were able to squeeze in a quick 1v1 pump game before the others showed up.
I already had all the semi's laid out and set up. After a short chrono session and a quick team draw. (We put x# balls of one color, x# balls of another color into a hat and draw before each game. That helps keeps things random and mixes up the teams.) The games began....

After about 4 or 5 games, my cousin suggests, we have an all pump game or two. I was pleasantly surprised and just so happened to have 5 pumps with me. What kind of pumps did I bring, you ask? ....

OC Phantom
Mac-1 Annihilator
OC Nelson Mutt w/CCI bucket changer
PGP w/all the bells/whistles
and for giggles a Splatmaster

Well, after the first round of all pump, they were hooked. We played the rest of the day with pumps. It was like a pump marker taste test. Every couple of games, they would switch markers to try something different. They all said they had a lot of fun with them and enjoyed that style of play. One of them is all ready looking into getting a Phantom.

Well all that is left to do now is ........clean 10 markers.

I hate it that I missed this Saturday. Hopefully next time around my wife won't be out of town and I will be able to come down.

Don't you hate being a grown-up sometimes.

I drove out to the field today and the owner has yet to start any of the renovations.

I'm looking to have a game this Sunday(Feb 3rd). But, I'm have a little trouble rounding up my local regulars(non-MCB). The weather is calling for mid to upper 50's. Does anyone want to play some indoors-ish paintball????

I’m very tempted to come down. Is anyone able to fill air tanks?
