jebus! "17” APEX2 Barrel tip" Who the hell needs a barrel that long? on the plus side I'm a fan of getting rid of the stupid windows in the freak back, those always annoyed the crap out of me, and its why I searched high and low for a WWA freak back for awhile.

I say Booo to the .005" increments on the bore sizers, .002-.003" would be plenty if your going to be tuning properly IMO. If they were short bore sizers it would be more forgiving but now a slight underbore could turn into an extreme underbore with the other option being overbore, no middle bore. Hopefully they will come out with better sizers.

hopefully though they havent done anything silly like made it .02 longer or .001 larger OD so that you can still use the gobs and gobs of inserts that are out there floating around already.

Manike has commented elsewhere that they made some design compromises on their end in order to ensure full freak compatibility.

Might not be to bad to just buy the tip and back, I like that design better than the original freak back myself...
wonder how the sound signature is on the barrel tips??

Hm, you get a lot for the price, at least. This being the "Super" kit, i wonder if they'll release "regular" kits later, or pieces individually.
