I think this is a positive thing.

As someone that started in 2008-09, dropped out to come back in 2016, I missed the info on SP beyond that they had the freak inserts and went out of business under nefarious circumstances.

I'm learning a lot from this convo.

The big question I have now is how does one turn the three markers that look similar in the picture below, into the one that doesn't? And how many body parts will it cost me, Pistol Rogue?.. just please leave me one eye and a trigger finger.

I'm joking of course. I don't need an eye.

I really want one of these but, as someone who fell victim to the Shocker 03 (not even sure it was called the sft yet) and spent $1000 that was saved up for ages because I was 14 years old...just to have air piss down the barrel and seemingly no one that could fix it...
I will punch the owner of Smart Parts (at that time) in the neck.

But I digress, maybe I'll give this six months or a year to work out the kinks. I am pumped for it though.

Have one (TFG mech conversion)
It's heavy AF to mod into a pistol
The gripframe isn't strong enough for a Relay reg mod also

Thanks to the current administration's stance on healthcare, most duplicate vital organs (kidney, lungs) are performing strongly, so you have that going for you

To be honest the shocker would not likely be an ideal candidate for a pistol mod, unless you want a pistol that maintains the feel of a regular marker. The regulator housing and body are milled from a single piece of aluminum, so you're stuck with a vertical reg without hacking and drilling/tapping, and I may be wrong but I believe the feedneck base is milled in as well, not threaded or easily removable. It's too high in the price range for that level of hackery, at least for a few years when the used market's fickle ways have worked their magic.

If it's a pistol build you want, the G1M is the place to be. Unlike the SP1 the useless metal shroud on front of the firing can is not pressed in, remove two screws and it's out. The feedneck block is removable and the weaver rail would be perfect for Apocalypse to make a picatinny-mount springpheed for it. The vert asa is held in by one bolt and the underside of the body has a lot of meat to carve out to hide the reg horizontally.

I've actually recently started to re-work Heresy almost from scratch with the G1M's frame, and the gen 2 eNMEy firing can and guts, just haven't had time to finish due to having an extremely active toddler, a wife on an opposing work schedule, and moving into a new house.

ANyway, i keep meaning to update the first post with all the new info, just havent had a chance to go through in detail yet. Hopefully by the end of the weekend, we'll see.

Just heard second hand that MSRP is $799.99.

Also just saw that Eclipse is releasing a mechanical Etha2 (EMek), and price is rumored to be $199.99. Seems like a pretty easy choice to me, but good to see options none the less.

I haven't seen any rumors of price. That low would be insane. I'm expecting closer to $279.

I've also hear that $800 is going to be the price. Pretty steep.
