I like it. I like it a lot. Short Mags plus that... win. (I don't care that it seems short)

Mask clearance would be an issue, though.
What if it had a stock more similar to Walz's jezail-type pieces?

I'm of the opinion real steel stocks tend to not work very well; the 10/22 is mostly for scale. I would think a custom stock (jezail geometry or otherwise) is the best for paintball at any rate. A simple plug/rail combo would help too though.

I like the geometry though.

I think ideally the trigger would sit where the valve is shown currently.

Didn't put on the "Tanktop" shroud either. That's undergoing modification.

Not terrible but would need to modify the stock a lot. Standard Shaft4 barrel shown, seems a little short.

Looks very M14 esque IMO.
top cap - extended on something like this for a potential rail ?

And one thing I would like to personally see would be (and this would strictly be aesthetics and a personal want as I don't see really a lot of call for it) would be a survival rifle style setup done ... I think it has potential especially if they get the SSR mags good to go...

TL;DR hole size controls how fast balls get spent

I figured add a rail to the MFO top (attached). Keep it lightweight without needing a full shroud.

quick sketch. not to scale and trigger side needs loads of work. drop in stock version w/magwell (either bolt on or built in) and a trigger section for a new valve (if it'd work) and air bits

Able to do a little work on a Picatinny Tanktop rail, top and angled versions.

Front geometry will change to better merge with the body once I can get some dimensions.

Thick enough to reuse the stock #6-32 x 5/16" eye screws. Ideally have another bolt through the endcap to reduce the strain on the eye screws but subject to any future testing.

Sweet looking mockup! Awesome to see potential custom bits for a marker that hasn't even come out yet.

I'm really stoked on this gun.

Makes it much easier that it's an EMEK at least up top. Simplifies things immensely since the geometry is pretty much available already.
