Makes sense to keep something that works great rather than reinventing the wheel. Easier to focus on the integration of the magfed end when you're confident the other 90% is (nearly) perfect at the start.

Exactly!

We waited so long to enter the magfed arena because we wanted a solid mech marker to base it on before we did. The Emek was our sign that we had something we could work with.

The stock gives it an almost Dragnov like feel.

I like the idea - not low enough in the cheek for me, but I'd probably just run the tank with a tank cover anyway and wouldn't bother with a real stock as such.

What it does show is that PE are serious about accessories - something that never quite eventuated with the DAM.

It is actually quite low. With a riser you will be fine.

I had hoped they would do an air-through stock, but if anything this actually gives a more stable firing platform as it braces the grip as well. I am still undecided but do want to try it out. Some of my team mates also also expressed interest in this design.

They have been very very clear though, if the marker is received well, then more will come. (I believe that was at minimum expressed in that German interview).

It's more that I don't want my face or mask touching the stock - besides masks being uncomfy that way and tending to move, it interferes with speedball style railroad barrel sighting, which is how I roll and is I think biomechanically the best way to sight for PB (but not for RS). If you can really call it sighting that is.

I think it's a good design practically even so, and ideal for a first stock for the MG100.
