I'd wait, we've got a few weeks for retailers to get word on mag shipments. Also every one has raised the prices on the 10 rounds mags right now.

Still no mention of carrier/spring kit availability and pricing?

They had said under $400 and the last price that had been targeted was $379 or so. This is a substantial increase to me. Seems like it would be likely to dominate the market at its original price point, now I donít know. I wonít be preordering at this point unless they are adding more to the package than originally stated.

Other than the DAM, does this gun really have any competition, though?
Seems like there just aren't a lot of choices for people to want actual paintball guns that feed First Strikes from magazines, but don't break modern paint and aren't goofy firearm approximations.

I agree that on those points there isnít much else out there as far as non Milsim except maybe adn. I donít see the dam as competition really since itís double the price or more and is electronic. However there are first strike milsim guns in the same range and most magfed players prefer more sim than not. Maybe those guys would be apt to go for a gun with less looks and more performance if it was still at the original price point. Guys like us who donít care about looks and want the reliability are I think a smaller customer base. Mostly I see the mg 100 as $450 for reliability. Efficiency and sound are good too but maybe arenít as industry leading as the reliability will be if everything pans out as great as the prototypes indicate.

Maybe Iím just a cheapskate.

They are 6+6 on the short mags. (I have zero idea why they list them as 5+5).

This is an initial release. If anyone thinks this is where they stop... you are kidding yourselves. (this is not a comment to you btw Inflicted, just a general comment).

---

Someone asked what it comes with: (so going from memory)

Pal feedneck
POPS ASA
EMC kit as standard.
EMC kit extension shroud
14" .689 shaft 4 two piece barrel
Gamma cored internals
drop stock adapter
end caps
spare o-rings, covers, screws, allen keys
dummy magazine (For when you run a hopper)
10 (6+6 in reality) magazine with modified followers and soft springs - springs for paint, followers for paint and fsr.
a doctors note for when you need and excuse to leave the field and your MG100 won't give you one.

Fan of EMR
I found a couple packs of 20 rnd mags for regular msrp and grabbed them.
Iím sort of going all in having never played magfed. Maybe Iíll be like those predator Autococker suckers.

And what marker do they use to achieve that?

Honestly recommend if:

a) you run paint
b) want to stay quiet when you fire a blank shot
c) use fsr (don't use the soft springs with fsr.. you can.. but my recommendation is use reg springs with fsr). The follower being concave stops pretty much any chance of the final round flipping.
