Clutch Autococker?

Did anyone see that Clutch Autococker grom Freeflow?

Apparently, it’s only available today?

That seems like a really dumb marketing scheme

1 day only!

We won't take your money any other day! Go somewhere else! Your money is no good tomorrow

Get paid in 2 days? Too bad!

Does look nice, while I'm probably never going to buy a private lable cocker, I do appreciate that they exist

It would appear FF has had some success with this in the past. I actually really like that it's one day. The interesting part about this one is it does custom badge on it, which would make it pretty difficult to resell versus those mags that came out for a ton of extra money. I thought idea was so stupid, but now I'm super jealous of the people who have them.

They've been advertising it for months, so if you weren't ready it's your own fault.

Really not a bad idea though, because what's the other option? You go like CCM or Shocktech and throw a couple guns up here and there as you finish them and people hope they can buy them in time. Or you build a set batch and hope you sell out like the Inception Twisters that had to be firesale'd to finish them off.

This way they know exactly how many people will buy and they're not stuck with leftover stock. Nor are they leaving people hanging like CCM does when someone wants an S6 and had to wait maybe 6 months or more until they do a run again. Plus it's a good way to build hype for the brand and get people talking, look how many people are on FB sharing their Clutch post as they buy them.

It does look cool, but since this is MCB I have to wonder what will it look like converted to a pump.

I agree that when it comes to limited run boutique goods it’s hard to win. People are mad if they can’t buy one and most people can’t buy one no matter the scheme used. Letting people know of a presale and giving them time to prepare works pretty well politically but that also tends to slightly drive the price up higher every time...because they had time to prepare...

It’s cool. It doesn’t look all liquid and organic like most overdone cockers, which I like. I never understood the point of starting with the heaviest gun made just to cut half the block away. This thing is custom but still a slab. Also, the one in the pic is blue...mainly just blue...and not rainbow gradient smear. Cockers not choppers, sorta. Very very nice.
