Yet to be named Palmer Event. Planning Stage

I have great news. APG is now under new ownership. Brad has the equipment and know-how to make that field run the way we have always dreamed.

So, in order to support a new owner via some turf that lot of us love to play on, I have lined up a spot for the Palmer Event.

Overnight dry camping near our play area.
Discounted Early Entry Fee
Our own personal refs. "Player Refs"
Annex a section of the field for the entire weekend.
Renegade game schedule. Constant game play like Bacci's.

All we need to do is pick an annual date. ( Example 1st weekend of some month)

Suggestions?

Bacci event is near the end of the year, SPEW is near march/april. So how about something in august?

It's crazy stupid hot up here in August. What Luke said, or maybe October-ish?

October would work well as well, last big events of the summer are labor day, so not a lot of competition from other big game events.

You S Cal people may not be aware of how ridiculously hot the Sac area tends to be in the summer. APG is dry, dusty and huge, with no running water. I don't even play there when it's 90 or above. Let's shoot for spring or fall.

Yes, this is basically a POG event under another name. Attendees will become Non Profit Club Members. Dues are $1 per year.
