Yep. Not just you.

Seems to me like it's faster until you hit about 90% or so then it slows to a crawl. It took me ~5-10 battles(depending on tier) to get from 99% to 100%

I'm on my 3rd skill for my Type 59 crew and they've been in the high 90's for a month or so.

You know by clicking crew skills in their personnel file it'll tell you how much XP you have to gain to increase their skills? It's kind of depressing at times, but it's there.

It is, I don't even want to look when it's in the high 90's.

War Thunder Ground forces is out now. The menus & interface are somewhat confusing but I had a blast in the 3-4 games I played. My initial impression is that it blows WOT away. Tanks are a so much more fun to drive. They slide around corners and feel real (I've driven a few back in the National Guard), heavy and powerful. I did manage to roll a soviet T60 turning too sharply on the side of a hill. Maps I saw were much more open & interesting with lots of cover and elevation/terrain changes and more than the usual choice of only 3 routes. I forsee many hours wasted on this one. Nice to be able to play a sneaky flanker role without being lit up for the whole opposing team with a red outline if someone catches a glimpse of you.

I have to agree Dave, I've been with WOT since the start and was hoping WT would make a simulator mode where there was no 3rd person view unless your commander went exposed/vulnerable. Even the beta product is superior imo, and when you add in the aircraft on the battlefield element, I'm in.
Nothing against WOT, it's strictly land where WT offers more and that is worth the change to me.

I wonder how long it will be till WOT tried to shut down WT. With WT the match maker works better, the driving and firing is more realistic the menus and interfaces are VERY similar. The only like WT doesnt do better is research, because I accidentally started researching a tank and I still havent figured out how to stop researching it without just completing the research.

When does Ground Forces go live? I can't find anything other than the CBT information.
