Fuji x100 Anyone have one? I'm seriously considering going the route of 4/3's. Right now I really only use my 35mm lens anymore, it's rare that I swap out to a telephoto or anything else anymore so it's hard to justify carrying a huge DSLR everywhere. I played with the x100 at a store and fell in love with the camera's viewfinder. Just curious if anyone has one and what they think. |
I have one along side my OMD. The OMD is for fast action but I actually really enjoy my x100. Puts me in a different mindset. If you are considering one I would wait till march though seeing as Fuji just announced the X100s with much faster focusing. |
The X100s fixes all the problems I had with the original X100. - Faster focusing - Reduced minimum focal distance for both the OVF and EVF without having to switch to "Macro mode" (it was 0.8m for the OVF and now it's 0.5) - Faster shooting and bigger buffer. The new X100s has one of their X-trans sensors in it, RAW support is scarce with only Capture One Pro working with it right now. Lightroom, Photoshop and Aperture hardly work with it at all. But that probably will change with time. |

The X20 will be out soon, looks like it has some nice updates. |
The x100 is full of win. I have loved mine since day number 1. The aspect that I love the most is that it forces you to slow down, and make each shot count. Kinda like the CCM of cameras... |

The X-trans vs bayer color filter apparently requires a whole new RAW conversion process and Adobe and Apple haven't gotten fully behind it yet and no one knows if they will. |

I would love to pick one up. |
