Xcom 2?

Anyone a fan of the XCOM games? What do you think of the newest iteration?

I love Xcom EU and EW on the PS3, I'm disappointed that the new one is PC only, hopefully they port it to consoles soon, but it looks cool.

1 year later bump, I got this for PS4 a while ago, I love it.

I thought I was so slick I put a superior extended mag, and a superior stock on the sniper rifle, so I could shot 6 enemy's at once in killzone, and the misses would do 3 dammage.

Unfortunately the stock's don't do miss dammage in killzone.

So a tip, use a scope and extended mag for that, aim PCS, and tracer ammo if you have those available on your sniper, as it all works in killzone.

I love the turn based strategy games. They allow me to play a few moves a night and not really lose track of what I am doing. XCOM 1 was one of my favorites. I purchased XCOM 2 in Feb on humblebundle, but haven't installed it yet.

It's so nice I bought it twice. First for PC then for PS4.

Either of you buy the DLC(s) for PS4?

I'm on Xbox one, but I bought the DLC. The Mech class is okay, I wasn't really a fan of the mission to unlock them. They can't take cover and their accuracy is pretty bad. They also take a long time to repair if they get shot.

On the other hand, the other DLC with the Super bosses that can show up randomly during any mission are a lot of fun.

I loved Xcom EU and am loving Xcom 2, currently 75% of the way through an Ironman Commander difficulty run right now.

I really like that game, but it's getting kinda boring after couple of hours playing :P
