Apex Adapter

Does anyone know where i could find a apex barrel adapter for a 98 custom platinum...

I'm new to the game and i'm stuck with the tippmann stock barrel...

Any information would help.

Thanks

The Apex barrel comes with a stock barrel that works with the apex and the cylinder tip that does all the tricks and such. If you want a better barrel instead of the stock apex...

Here are some choices:

T98/98Custom/AlphaBlack BigShot APEX Ready 12" .690 Matte LAPCO Paintball

T98/98Custom/AlphaBlack Big Shot APEX Ready 8 Inch .687 Bead Blasted Black LAPCO Paintball

Or you can get a J&J barrel and stick the adapter on it.

Just throw out the stock 98 barrel, anything is better. Try a Custom Products one piece barrel for cost effectiveness if you decide not to go the the Apex route.

I would recommend just buying a good barrel, avoid spending money on gimmicks, and use that money to sharpen your own gameplay. The best thing to upgrade is your skills, not your equipment.

just save your money up and do it right the first time. I use a freak back with the all american apex ready front. not the cheapest option, but one of the better ones.

I agree with the "buy a CP and save the rest" option. I have one, have used it on pumps, a TM7 and other electronic guns, doesn't work as well as they make it sound.

You can put an apex on any barrel without having to buy the adaptor. I'm running an Apex on a 16" J&J ceramic for my Tippmann 98. It's super easy to do.

That's a bit misleading. Yes, it will fit. I put one on a phantom once. It's not worth it, just get the whole barrel and tip.

Not worth the money to me. I'm cheap. :D
