how does it come off

So I am going to send my S6 for anno so I need to tear it down. Does the pump rod thread into the pump plate or is it pressed or glued? Also how does the beaver tail loop come off of the rod? Sorry if this is dumb I just don't want to force it and break something

It is red loctited in the plate so it cannot be removed unless you heat it up and remove it. They are set specifically when they leave CCM. Only a professional should remove the rods, and re-install them. Removing them will also void your warranty.

If i were you..
id Call Mel at CCM, Im sure you could work something out.

Annodizing will void the warranty, too, though, so it's rather pointless to debate warranty.

If you use a vice grip with plastic/rubber pads you should be able to get it out. That's how I did mine. Boiling it to heat it might help as well, though remember to wear thick gloves...

^ agreed with above.. best way to break down red loctite if you don't have a torch imo
