Recommended LPR?

So I'm looking at some upgrades for my 98 pump cocker and the first one that comes to mind is a new reg. It still has it's original stock regulator which is shooting a little low these days. My question to MCB is what high pressure regulator do you recommend?

Zerbob

Palmer's Rock/Micro-Rock are always at the top of the list. What I've always used on my Cockers.

This.

I've used stock WGP, Belsales, Eclipse Dart, Shocktech FGP, and the PPS microrock beats them all for consistency, ease of use, and reliability.

Wait, are you talking about the low pressure regulator (out the front) or the high pressure regulator (out the bottom)?

For either I say use what works. I've never had a problem with anything from WGP.

Yes sorry, the HPR out the bottom. I was really tired when I typed the original post.

fastest recharging at 30ish noid cycles per second is, MD & AKA, then Palmers

In that case, AKA 2-Liter, AKA Sidewinder, Palmer's Stabilizer. In that order.

wow his title asks LPR, his posts asks HPR

hey if you pump is shooting low why not just increase the fps so its not?

Rickfactor2 05-24-2010 08:16 PM

The original stock WGP reg (not the black magic, karnivore, or ergo reg) is just fine. I reccommend you fashion yourself a pressure tester, set the reg to 325 psi and then use the rear IVG to change your velocity.

Another real possibility is the trend of the paint bore size getting smaller. You did not mention if you are sizing your barrel and paint correctly. Smaller paint through a large bore will equal lower velocity.
