Stolen marker: where do I post info?

I had my palmers blazer stolen off my front porch last week. I have filed a police report and have ups doing an investigation and am going to post an apb at all my local pb stores and pawn shops. also letting all in the neighborhood know about the theft and offering a $100.00 reward for the markers safe return.

Someone told me to come over here and post up to see if I might find some help.

The marker is a palmers Blazer older style, one detent, ser# BZ505, custom CPPA international logo lazer engraved on the side, custom one piece tactical stock with built in RVA.

Thanks fellows for the help.

Call Palmers also... they will keep an eye out for it coming back to the shop as well.

Good luck,
D.

post pics when you can.

Did you contact PPS? They'll keep an eye out if it shows up for service. Also keep an eye on ebay. Do you have a picture of it?

Let Palmers know as well about the theft.

Post here as well:

Too unique, no way you can really hide it, hell it's even engraved, it'll surface eventually.

Pawn shops is a nice place to dump it. Remember those.

pizzaluvr 11-03-2007 03:56 AM

Yeah, check all the pawnshops... If it turned up there, it may never turn up online.

From which town/city was it stolen? We need a place to start looking.

simmy952 11-03-2007 09:27 AM

Akron, OH. This is a friend of mine. It is a custom blazer and this is going to be hard to unload.

Tugboater203 11-03-2007 11:40 PM

Good luck. We'll do what we can, as previously stated something that unique can't stay down forever.

Good luck man, I sure hope she breaks on the thief, and they send it in to PPS. Best of luck!

Gotpaint92 11-04-2007 06:57 PM

If the theif even knows what a gem he stole.

Prophet 11-05-2007 08:58 AM

I suspect that he [the thief] will part out the pieces and sell them. He will sell the pieces one at a time, slowly as to avoid quick detection. Keep a close watch on eBay. I get around on there pretty often... if I see anything I will post up here.

Another good idea is to alert as many paintball forums as you can to the theft. That way if the thief tries to sell it on a forum and that forum has been warned then BAM you got him.

Hope you get your stuff back man.

Phantom Mikey 11-05-2007 09:31 AM

Considering how quickly it was taken, it sounds like someone knew it would be there... who knew you were expecting a marker to be delivered via UPS?

ceojetbroadband 12-09-2007 02:12 PM

Also, keep in mind that the person who may have it now may not know that it was stolen at one point. It could have been sold to someone that paid good money for it as well. I am going to guess that someone just swiped the box hoping for a good Xmas present or something?

c6quad 12-09-2007 03:25 PM

yeah, the person that stole it could have very well not known what it was he was taking. he just stole it to be stealing something. anyways... i hope you get it back!!!
