metadyne launcher

Are they worth the money are there any other undermount options for shooting nerf rockets at tanks.

does anyone have any experience with these type launchers and how many shots can you get off your tank?

They're currently the best nerf launcher that I know of.

Make one with 2" PVC, a Sprinkler valve, and a 12 gram CO2 adapter. There are plans on the internet. You could probably do it for under $50.

Most commercial fields will not let you use homebrew launchers made from PVC these days. They are too unreliable and if one explodes while aired up it turns into a very bad day, very quickly.

The metadyne is a great option!

You get about 1 shot per cubic inch of air. A 13/3000 tank gives you about a dozen shots.

I have a dedicated launcher set up that I run for games with tanks and what not. Its Fulda Gap legal so its like 3 feet long and well worth the money I put into it. Its is big but reliable and to my liking, I had to turn down a team mate borrowing it just so I could protect my launcher...its that awesome.;)

Looks pretty sweet. My idea was to either take my m98c, or get an m17 cqc and run a dual micro remote line to it. One to the marker and one to the underbarrel launcher.

I would go with a separate launcher. I find having that much extra weight on the gun makes it too cumbersome and really slows down snapshots, running, and the time it takes to aim.

^Agree^

Just wield it separately with it's own dedicated tank.
They are THE deciding factor in scenario games involving tanks and such and are a blast to shoot. I love mine.
Make sure it has been upgraded with the 2nd gen piston.

Also, Nerf rockets are getting harder to find.
We found that Petsmart makes a doggy ball that works wonderfully.
Same design as a tennis ball but smaller.
They come in neon colors and fit the ID in Havocs great.
Also, they fly farther and truer....shhhhhh
