A5 Import Blues..........
a5 import blues............
Anyone know what the odds of customs seizing or sending a a5 with flatline back to the US from Canada. Its at customs and I am afrade some customs Officer will arbritrarilly seize it............ or put a major duty/brokeridge fee on it.
Its been shipped to canada from the US.
Oh heck no, never had a single problem.
I ONCE BROUGHT A MAG IN ..............THEY CHARGED $135.00 BROKER (RYMES WITH "NOW YOUR BROKE") ON A $175.00 PURCHASE.
I am worried that some officer will think its too "real"
It took 4 mths to get the "individual" seller to ship and now this.............perhaps I am over-reacting.
Scary Customs wording:
QC, CA 01/25/2008 5:54 P.M. IMPORT SCAN
01/25/2008 4:31 P.M. SHIPMENT PENDING RELEASE FROM CLEARANCE AGENCY
01/25/2008 11:37 A.M. REGISTERED WITH CLEARING AGENCY / SHIPMENT SUBMITTED TO CLEARING AGENCY
NB, CA 01/23/2008 4:42 P.M. POWER OF ATTORNEY DOCUMENTATION IS MISSING AND IS REQUIRED FOR CLEARANCE
I a KP-3 "up North" last spring and it went without a problem.
Good luck with the A-5.
They are charged by the shipping company (i'm assuming UPS, couple of class action law suits against them for that very reason)
I've never had problems shipping realistic looking markers across the border.
had an Illusion come from noofie (least I think thats were idkfa is from) and it came through fine.
Ups Calls This A High Value Item
UPS CALLS THIS A HIGH VALUE ITEM..............(MEANS WERE GOING TO RIP YOU?)
I didn't know they were paintball experts ...............perhaps they frequent mcarter brown. This was supposted tobe my most modern and laaaaaaaaaaaaast pb marker.
They charged me $20 in brokerage on a pair of boots that cost $19 on to of $12 for shipping and $38 of brokerage for $70 of A-5 parts.
Avoid them like the plague!
Okay I have had several  markers sent up from the states. The only one I have received any problems from is the one shipped from fed ex. I got a brokerage fee of 80.00 tacked on. The rest came through usps and transferred to canada post and not one cent added. The brokerage fees are outrageous but I have only had them from above mentioned. One gun was held up in customs for almost a month. I sometimes wonder if they take our guns to play with for a while prior to delivering.:LMAO:
Yeah, being the resident expert on international shipping;
NEVER use UPS, their slogan 'What can Brown do for you?' should read "Give us half a chance and we'll pound your Brown"
use USPS or, if you absolutely have to, FedEx.
also, if they claim to have done customs brokerage for you, make sure you ask for copies of the following; 'Form B-3' 'Canadian Customs Invoice (CCI)' and if they give you a copy of the B-3, post the 10 digit Harmonized System Tariff Number (HS Number) right here so i can check the duty rate for you.
