New ATS owner ... Actually a TS-1
I finally got a hold of a TS-1 ... :gunsfiring:
I was told it have "updated HPA guts", but it looks like a CO2 core: all brass with the C-clip on top ...
I have a few questions:
- Any goog place to get spare parts like the guide plate or mags?
- Can it use siphon tank or gaseous CO2 only?
- Can a CO2 core run on HPA from time to time?
- What is the efficiency of those? is it feasable to use with a 4oz CO2 or 9ci hpa?
- What is the exact thread on the barrel and uni-sizer?
- I saw Hephaestus zeta mag mod, any 3D printed version out there?
- Also, any 3D printed mag models? Guide plate?
Any other trick or things to watch for?
Im sure i will have more questions at some points  ...
Thank you all in advance for your help.
I have guide plates for $7.50 plus shipping (usually $1.50 for an "armored envelope").
You can use HPA, just be careful if you go full auto as I hear it can cycle too fast and make trouble. FWIW, I played for a full day on HPA and when I got home realized I had grabbed my co2 marker. I couldn't tell a difference, and it seems neither could the marker.
Just be aware that the seals for the CO2 marker are not readily replaceable, so try to keep liquid out.
Thanks for your help, I'll make sure to NOT grab the siphon tank by mistake :p
Anyone have the thread specs for the sizer and barrel?
They are proprietary. I have the specs somewhere, but those fine sizer threads are 56 tpi. I was only able to find a couple of guys who could do those. The main thread has more options, if you are looking to get custom ones done.
If you haven't already, download and PRINT out the owners manual.
It has to be the most complete owner/operation manual for a paint gun.

NEVER run a TS-1 on liquid...it REALLY hate it. The original Tagline case included a 9oz CO2 bottle. I never ran mine with the bottle on the gun, for risk of getting liquid in the gun. When I ran CO2, I had it on a remote to use as in in-line expansion chamber. HPA, on the other hand solves all those problems. The conversion kit should have removed the copper filter. You can run a TS-1 on HPA, but do not go full-auto, or you can drop the output pressure to just around 800~840 (DO NOT go above 850 without the conversion kit). The threads for the unisizer are custom.
The rATS project led by LordKyle is your best bet for parts.
The stock barrel is not really bad at all. There were two runs of LAPCO barrels made for the ATS because of the MCB community. They may show up on BST threads here or on ebay. I am keeping my LAPCOs :p.
Welcome to one of the most fun guns to shoot. Take care of it, and it will give you years of fun. I have had mine for damn near 20 years, and I still get that evil grin when I switch to full-auto.
The manual was in the case ...
The previous owner put a 7oz siphon tank in the case. I will make sure not to use it on the TS-1.
For the sizer ... I have a small cnc lathe ... I might make the sizer at home ... Time to pull out the micrometer and threaded gauge ...
I am still going thru the rATS thread and data ... I have a lot of print to try :p
I believe I put a unisizer file into the rATS thread. It'll slip fit over the minor threads
