OC VS SC
So I have a VSC phantom, and have recently learned of Mike going into retirement and im sad. Anyway, I'm looking at the CCI site for parts and such (just to have, cause the world is ending.) I've never played with my phantom in open class, only SC, but is the best way to just buy a whole new breech kit?(Was thinking the center feed w/ clamping neck) or is buying the SC feed mounting adaptor an option to add a hopper? It looks like I could put a clamping neck into the mounting adapter, and that adaptor just screws into my current SC breech?
Yep, just grab the mounting adaptor and a feedneck, plus whatever ASA solution you need to run a tank if you’d like to go truly open class

awesome, thanks for the reply. Im assuming its threaded and I can use any type of neck (not CCI specific)

A CCM feedneck base will mount on a Phantom Stock class body with one screw. If you can’t find a CCI one.

I have the SC feed mounting adapter and it seems to work great as long as my hopper is not too short. Just screw her on to my stock class body and BOOM centre feed! I have had great luck with that adapter and APP 50 round hopper.

Not sure if these are still available on the market... I snagged one about a decade ago for my SC. Got to drill the top to fit the detent that's included. I think it has a low profile compared to the clamp necks that CCI has. Lapco Grey Ghost - SC Phantom Vertical Feed Assembly

Thanks Carp! Quick question though, what's the difference between "no-rise" and "no-pro" feednecks from CCM?

Carp you’re the man
