Ouch. Looks like it hurts.

I'm curious, was that a hit on bare skin or, through a jersey, etc?

Friendly fire isn't

that’s a lot of f’s.... Did you drop that many f’s when it happened?

That’s a lot of blood for a kid friendly round.

Consider my enthusiasm for first strike lower even than it was before.

Expensive
Fills the woods with plastic
The whole cosplay thing
Fragments paintball userbase
Don’t work with hoppers
-new addition- Draws blood!

I think one of RussC's points about 50 cal is that at equal impact energy to 68 cal, a smaller round is going to spread the energy less, concentrating more in one area. So more ouch.

5ft from almost any round could do this kind of damage, depending on a few things, of course.

What was the chrono set at for the 50-cal FSR's that day?

Had worse from roundball. Stop whining because of perception. Any woodsball round can do the same.

.50 cal FSR is not "kid friendly", where on Earth did you grab that from? .50 cal FSR is NOT meant for low inpact.

Field speed was 265. I am unsure if they chronographed the Umarex pistols, or ignore the .50 and .40 caliber pistols. I have no clue. I certainly ran into people shooting hot.
