I'm confused by the price on this, a new gargoyle would run $650 if they were being produced and you can buy all those parts minus the pump handle for ~$400 right now.

Not sure what you mean. Buy all of what parts for $400 right now? All of the RTR parts, all of the CCI parts, or all of the parts combined to create this gun?

I can assure you that all of the parts used to create this gun cost me a lot more than $400, and there is no way anyone else could build this same gun for that price either.

From the RTR website - a new valve body ($50), trigger group ($175), grip frame ($50) and bucket changer ($50) total $315. This does not include the pump, pump rods, barrel bushings and vertical adapter which would easily put the total close to $400 - and that's just for the RTR parts I have which doesn't even include the breech, internals, feed tube, T-stock, etc.

As the RTR parts on this gun are used (yet in mint condition), I'm factoring them in to the total price for what I paid for them.

As indicated, the CCI parts are all new which I paid retail for. If you include the price for the dust silver ano parts, you'll see that the total for just the new CCI parts is over $230 without shipping.

Add in the grips, the SS air line parts (all new and ordered separately), the RTR parts, and the CCI parts and you're looking at $600 (without shipping costs) easily. As new Gargoyles are unavailable at this time, I don't think the asking price for a beautiful, one-of-a-kind gun which has never seen a game is unreasonable in the least.

Thanks, but I'm gonna pass on that offer. It's a pretty decent offer, but I already have over half a dozen Phantoms. The reason I'm selling the Garg/Phantom is because I've got way too many Phantom-based guns as it is, and don't get to play with most of them.

I'll be putting quite a few of these on the market shortly...

However, being a true MCB gun whore, I'm sure I could find room for some other stock-class goodness that catches my eye. But, it would have to be something really unique and badass.
