Sterling issue

So my sterling itís one of thee newer ones with solder threads wonít accept 12 gram changers not sure why works perfectly fine with an hpa tank but I wanted to run my micro ca on it and I canít get it to seal in the asa. Any ideas
Donít want to crank t on and damage the threads of the micro ca.
Tank oring in the asa is my usualy go to but it seems the gap will be too big for that this time

I didn't thought of it yesterday, can you put a caliper and measure the depth of the ASA? (and I didn't have a caliper with me )

If It doesn't word, I can always take it off your hands
