Hector the collector collected bits of string collected dolls with broken heads and rusty bells that would not ring pieces out of picture puzzles bent up nails and ice cream sticks twists of wire, worn out tires Paper bags and broken bricks old chipped vases and old shoelaces gattlin guns that wouldn't shoot leaky boats that won't float stopped up horns that wouldn't toot copper keys that fit no locks rings that were too small for fingers dried up leaves and patched up socks worn out belts that had no buckles Electric trains that had no tracks airplane models broken bottles Three-legged chairs and cups with cracks Hector the collector, he loved these things with all his soul. More than shinin' diamonds, more than glistenin' gold. Hector called all the people come and share my treasure trunk. And all the silly sightless people looked at it. And called it junk. I really need a KP-3 |

The pictures of it on e-bay, really didn't to it any justice. It's much nicer in person. It's got Pursuit Marketing Inc. stamped on the left side, middle of the barrel, like a couple of other guns I have. So I was pretty happy about that. It's leaking, but I knew that, so I'll rebuild it sometime when I get a chance. I'll try to post some pictures of it, in the Sheridan picture thread, soon as I get a chance. :-) Hector

hhmm, can't tell from the pics but does it have ball bearing holes in the barrel? looks a lot like a pump converted k2... has the same knurled pump handle my k2 had on it when i got it too...

Active Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Austin, Texas | It's got 1 tiny hole w/a tiny ball bearing(not like the standard KP-2 ball bearing holes, on both sides of the barrel), on the left side of the barrel. No ball bearing hole on the right side of the barrel. I also have an early minty K2(serial # in the 8000's), and I got to looking at it and noticed that there are no ball bearing holes on either side of the barrel, where as this gun has that one tiny little ball bearing hole w/a ball bearing in it, on the left side of the barrel. So I really don't think it's a pump converted K2. Just my 2 cents. :-) I got it sealed up yesterday and all put back together and it's holding air. So I'm happy about that! I'll try and get some pictures posted, as soon as I can.

I'd like to see some photos of that. Also, that would be an interesting note to add under the KP2 section on Vintage Rex.
