Certaintly looks like a TASO Spartan. They have that unique shaped trigger guard, and use ramline grips.

Plus, it says TASO Spartan. The only quirk is that it doesnt look like the TASO style pump they used. It reminds me of the pump seen on AGS, or Rebel, or the Warlord pumps.

TASO was had some sort of weird distribution deal. They were often the only guns you would see in "non paintball" stores. Ie sporting goods stores, military surplus stores, leo/military/etc. Mail order catalogs. Whenever I'd see a TASO gun, I'd assumed they were newbies who had never been to a field before

At one time, you could choose between all the TASO parts. You could go on the cheap, with this pump and a knock-off Daisy frame, or go all the way with the ribbed delrin LAPCO style pump and this frame with the Ram-Line. Internals were "Al La Carte" as well. It's definitely a TASO body, with the valve body screws at 180*.

This is going to sound silly, but can someone define "Unibody" for me?

That's what I've always thought, but my Spartan was labeled as a "Unibody" when I picked it up, and it definitely has a removable barrel. Thanks for the clarification!

Lots of terms get used strangely/inappropriately by eBay sellers.
Unibody is one of them...'stock class' is another...

I once saw a stock cocker body referred to as 'unibody'
