I know what the title is....and I know what it looks like....but I have no idea what this is....

Wow that's interesting. Looks like the barrel is a line SI style. But the body is a centerfeed, so it was obviously modified from something else. My guess is it was a powerfeed hammer, based on the color, but not sure based on the length of the breech if that is right. I think that feed is from a Taso stock gun but I havn;t looked at them in a while. very cool hodgepodge,

I think the bottom is a prostar labs, maybe a Kodiak?

Some history on Maximasters with Peter Clark

Peter would buy bore drop pumps and take them to Carter Machine for a stock class conversion. He would sell the bore drops as Maximasters.
