Avoid the nightmares: Lucid.

So a friend of mine owns a gaming company. I helped with his playtesting of Remain Calm (think DnD meets Walking Dead), I've worked a little with his group on the lore and tech of its sci-fi counterpart Outer Reach, and kicked about the precursor to a card game (then 'Grimwar'). That spawned one that fleshed out better and moved onto Kickstarter for its release.

Lucid is kind of... Uno-meets-Munchkin, with the goal of being the last person to fall asleep. Complete with his own spacey brand of art, which I'm a fan of.

That looks cool. Is it only for two players? It seems like they don't include enough cards for more than that.

I haven't had a chance to playtest the release version of it, but from the start he's wanted something that can expand. The higher pledges get you 4 decks or so, so I assume it's geared more toward something about that size.
