I bought all of the MTG board games and can’t wait to try them out.

Arena? I've been playing it, and I actually think it's a lot if fun. Even though it is just standard, it gives you a chance to mess around and find some things to try in physical decks, and you don't have to spend any money on it, even though you can. It led me to some combos and decks that I probably wouldn't have found otherwise, and it's free, so why not.

The idea is start off with a strong "hug" base.
As I'm busy helping everyone out, I am slowly building mana and protection. See: "Turtle"
Finally, once the competition starts taking each other... I drop my hippo in and start taking kill shots.

I have someone in my local playgroup who has a pretty fun hug deck. He just gives everyone a ton of mana acceleration and extra card draw, and just lets his generosity slowly smother us to death. No big creature swings, he just kills us with kindness.

That nelspot never needs lube, shoots 2,000 ball per second, never needs reloaded, doesn't require an air source and when the paintball hits somebody the result is the same as if Chuck Norris round house kicked them.
He nick named the gun Reggie.

Been around 7-8 years since I last played? I stopped around the time of Zendikar and Worldwake.
