THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
tlane77 He's got a woody for your woods. splattttttt land

It is with a very heavy heart that I post this message.
Although his existence has not impacted paintball like so many others that pass in our community may have, he still deserves mention.
Denis Basak is the single most important figure in the realization of the Gargoyle. Of course the machine shop owner allowing me to work on the project and providing the machine time for such a comparatively small endeavor was vital as well, but without Denis's dedication and hundreds upon hundreds of hours of thought, CAD/CAM time, machining, testing, questioning, poking fun, honing, Moxie drinking, quick witted comebacks, hilarious one liners, and much much more, none of us would own a Gargoyle. I think many of you would have liked him.
I watched his computer monitor over his shoulder for years as a dumb clueless nincompoop trying to explain my vision. He never lost his patience when he would work for hours on something only to have me arrive after work to say that it was not what I wanted. He would always say in a casual non offensive smarmy manner.."uuuuok" and set back to work. We became very good friends out of the shop as well and for that I am especially grateful.
So, I at least owe him, and you the mentioning of his passing. Denis passed away last night after very brief knowledge of him having Cancer. He is a part of paintball history to me and he will be greatly missed.
A visual refresher of some of his work can be seen in my BlogSpot link in my signature.
