Team Coat of Arms

I've designed us a Coat of Arms, and am looking for input. What do you all think? Matt was suggesting some paintball splotches in the background. Looking at it again, I think white font with a black border would make it pop more. Second thought, nope. Tried it and didn't like it. White text was good though.

I like that it isn't obviously paintball related. I think it is pretty awesome the way it is. If you want to continue to experiment: adding additional scavengers (hyena, squirrel for Blue64, or whatnot) whether on the same plane or in sections like this:

Now the next question... when do we all get tattoos?

Looks perfect as it is, my family Scottish crest does have a Latin saying incorporated into it so it may look cool with something Latin involving your established team date on the bottom under his talons. As I said originally it looks perfect now though.

Is it just me? or is there a hidden image at the center of the buzzard?

Before I experiment with BigTuana's idea of four panels on the coat of arms, I've made it look a little less 3rd Reich with the color scheme. I've colored the chest to resemble hops, as suggested, so less subtle than before, Phil.

Light brown background or light green?

I really like the hop cone, and prefer the light brown. Definitely a beer team with a paintball problem.

More inspiration:

Edit: your rough draft is higher quality than 99% of the coats of arms on Google images. Go Ammon!
