And, the weather was fantastic.

70 degrees in the middle of December. Who would have thought?

Im not complaining about it, that's for sure.

My marker worked flawlessly after an early battery replacement.
We won as the American's.
And overall, just an awesome match up.

The only negative I have is that the paint they had was garbage!
I usually mock the people that talk about the different paintballs and stuff, but this was so noticeably dimpled that I couldn't get a straight shot the entire day. They were like golf balls. They also didn't break, which did work out in my favor as much as it did against me.
Oh well.

Field and staff was great too. Wouldn't mind going back for another game.

The paint was rough. Once I got my Zebra cocker up and running, it did shoot okay although we definitely noticed the bouncing issues.

The weather was unreal. I never would have guessed that I'd feel hot playing in mid-Dec but I did. Also got lucky and won a marker out of it!

That's awesome. One of the guys I was with won one of the pistols. I couldn't even grab a pod.

Some 8' tall son of a bitch jumped in front of me to start snatching **** from people. I didn't really care about the $1.50 in merch I didnt catch, but I wasn't a big fan of some giant looking smurf mofo being rude to everyone.

My team also got MVT for the Germans. That was cool, and we were happy about getting it. I got there late, had some chrono-ing issues due to a crappy palmer reg spiking +/- 100 FPS prior to figuring out a fix so I didn't maim someone. But our team got to do a fun law rocket mission aimed at blowing up a bus after I got there in the afternoon (and our team and Sons of the South pulled it off, with SotS pulling off a beautiful rocket shot). The final battle was also a lot fun for me. If you were attacking the flag pole on the right for the Americans, odds were good I was throwing a heavy amount of paint your direction. I had half a case of paint I needed to use up, and walked off with under 4 balls left.

The people there all seemed nice, and my team had a great time with it. OXCC is also a good enough size field to play that many people. Overall, we had a really good time, and would be happy to do another one there.

Oh, haha. no kidding?

I was rolling with the Mouthy Mimes for the weekend, who took MVT and Mofo for the American side. Haha.
(though, im not technically an official member of the team.)
Good game!

I didn't even play the final battle. It just seems like a cheap way to get everyone to blow paint. I actually was out this year anyhow, but I am not a fan regardless.

Totally agree with you on final battles. Our team didn't do one at our recent scenario for that exact reason. I did, however, like this one, as I had a ton of paint that I actually did need to rid myself of. Worked great for me!
