Attackers Needed:

Castle Conquest West is looking to build a tiered leadership for the attackers in order to successfully compete against the defenders, which will be lead by Michael “Blue” Hanse. There will be as many as 10 leadership positions available, each with varying levels of on-field responsibility. Note: Limit one leadership role per scenario team.



Leadership Roles:

General (1 position)
Filled by Bengal from OCMI
Duties: Oversee entire attack strategy and delegate tasks to other officers.


Colonel (2 positions)
One spot filled by Toklas from Knuckle Draggerz
Duties: In charge of mission implementation.


Major (3 positions)
One spot filled by DeeLux from SouthWest Regulators
Duties: Assist in coordinating attacks and accomplishing missions.


Captains (4 positions)
Three spots filled by T-Devil from Clowns, Jaime from Argent Force and James from Bandless Brothers
Duties: Lead the main assault force.


Perks

All team captains that fill a leadership role and bring at least 7 of their teammates to Castle Conquest West will receive the following:
• Invitation to participate in the next SPLAT Magazine “Scenario Issue” photoshoot.
• Team photoshoot session (to be held day-of event). Team and individual portraits.
• Double-page team feature in an upcoming issue of SPLATXD.
• Ability to have team press releases sent out through SPLAT email database.
• Automatically placed into a defender spot (if so desired) for February’s event.

Hows does that castle compare to the real one? besides not being 2 story.

Ah yes. Which could be considered the biggest and the oldest. These days every other field sports some kind of castle.

This castle is no better than half as big in terms of it's footprint and of course one level.

Well it's official, I won't be attending. Will be in S.Cal but am handling my parent's estate sale. So hopefully there'll be another one sometime soon.

MISSIONS

Attacker Main Objective: Capture 6 quest items placed around the entire playing location.

Special Notes: Attackers MUST find at least 3 of the 6 quest items within the first four hours of Castle Conquest West. If they do so then the game will continue until the Attackers find all remaining 6 quest items or until time runs out. If Attackers do not find at least 3 quest items before the first four hours, the Defenders will be declared the winners and the game will reset and a second Castle Conquest game will take place 30min later.

Defender Main Objective: The goal of the Defenders is simply to survive. Camping in the Castle will reduce the number of eliminations the Defenders take, but that will also make it easier for the Attackers to capture the quest items.

Special Notes: Defenders are not allowed to pick up or capture quest items, they are of no value to the defending team.

Victory Conditions: Castle Conquest cannot be won on eliminations. The Attackers must capture three quest items before the 4th hour and all 6 quest items before the end of the day.

Total Elimination: If one side (Attackers or Defenders) gets completely eliminated, both teams will be reset back to their starting areas. Again, the only way to “win” Castle Conquest West if you’re an Attacker is to capture quest items.

STAGING

Attacker Staging Area: Parking lot.
Defender Staging Area: Registration center (in an effort to make it easier for the outnumbered Defenders to get air/paint faster in-between eliminations.)

Attacker Respawn Point: Western Town
Defenders Respawn Point: Castle (inside a walled 10x10)

Attacker Respawn Time: Every 20min
Defender Respawn Time: Every 10min

PRIZES

Easter Eggs: A few dozen plastic easter eggs will be hidden throughout the entire playing field, with each egg containing a piece of paper with a special number on it. Bring the egg and paper back to the registration area to claim the prize assigned specially to that egg. Prizes include Stiff barrels, SpecialOps vests and assorted gear from KEE, JT, Spyder and more!
