So how was it? I didn't get to go... Had a charity event on Saturday night I needed to attend.

I'll probably wait a few years before going back to this particular game.
It felt like a giant game of territories. It was lacking in props and other mini-missions. I guess there was a puzzle that could be solved with the help of a few clues, but I'm not sure, it's all still pretty unclear as it wasn't mentioned in the opening speech. All it felt like to me was run here and hold it. Quick, now run here and hold it. It was fun, but when CPX throws a game with "legends" in it, you expect it to be...well... Legendary.

Overall though, solid game play, teams felt fair and the staff was good to me, though I know a couple of guys who had refs threaten to punch their cards for saying "****" in completely "****" appropriate situations.

My biggest complaint is they sent a staff member out at 6:50 screaming that Chrono and registration was open. Listen, EMR, If you're reading this... We're all ****ing adults. We know when the game starts and set alarms for when we wanted to get up and get ready. We have the times in the pamphlets you gave us. So thank you, but cut the ****, we're not in elementary school.

I still don't know who won, but I had a good time.

I wish EMR would bring back Western Wars.

Templars won. There were missions and a few props. Most of it was go to X location to get a combination that opens a lockbox at location Y which leads to another clue at location Z, ect. If you weren't in communication with command you probably missed a lot of what was actually going on.

Which is basically every scenario game ever. Communication between command and the players makes or breaks a game like this.

However the sportsmanship was good for the most part and the paint was fantastic.

We won!
I knew Illuminati scored big at the end of Saturday with a puzzle, but we (Templars) held that castle for about 2.5 hours at the end of Saturday scoring big time.

It appears to me that unless you were part of the commands "inner circle" they really didn't give a **** about what you did. I ran back a few times and let them know what was going on in a few spots and they either blatantly ignored me or just Yes'd me to death and kept talking amongst themselves.

Overall, good game, thrilled to hear I was on the winning team!

Unsure if you mean you and a few guys on Illuminati or if you mean "us" as in Templars. Haha.

But damn! That was close. I knew it was a close game.
I didn't play much in Sunday, I had a few fire fights that were epic at zone 11 on Sunday morning, but ran out of paint pretty quickly.

I ended up at 11 with three other players. All of a sudden, Illuminati respawned and in epic fashion they straight up walked towards us in a V formation and just went for it. We were spraying and eliminating, but it was about 15 on 4. Just as me and one of the other players were walking off our dead zone charged in and the battle continued... That's where I ran out for the weekend and left. Haha.

I was playing Templars. And actually I was probably with you at 11 Sunday morning. I was shooting a copper Twister pump and wearing a Black T-shirt with 667 on the front.

Dude! I think you were LITERALLY shooting with me. Like, we had a conversation at a few bunkers, starting behind the house... And then at the respawn battle
I had the blue angel and white i4!

How awesome was that 4v15 (or whatever it was they had)!?

Yep, I remember. I couldn't believe they just walked down the road at us.
