There are a couple ugly cuts before I figured out it was best to forget the miter box and saw 1x6s flat on the table. The worst is hidden in the bottom.

I got it figured out. Since there was no wrench...

I got it figured out. Since there was no wrench hex and the seal isn't part of the kit I made a dumb assumption that it was harder than it was.

I grabbed it using a set of pliers with rubber...
