The problem with GenX-2 regs is that pressure relief valve. If it goes, you're not really able to fix it. Happened to me a few years ago, I could never get it working after that seal crumbled.

Change the burst disk and see if it still leaks. Nine out of ten times a burst disk leaks is just from the disk going bad, and doesn't come from anything being wrong with the reg.
