Hereís the thing...
The SP Impulse IS the greatest marker of all time because if itís versatility in both performance upgrades and aesthetics.

I owned a impulse, and while there is some nostalgia for the marker, in my opinion the base marker was not that good. It almost required a tapeworm from the factory and realistically should have had a lpr stock. I had a tapeworm on mine, local indoor field chronoed to 260. My impulse would not work at 260. They allowed me to Chrono to 270 just so I could play.
To this day the max Flo is one of the largest regulators ever built for paintball.
The good ones were the custom ones or private lable impulses but almost always you were replacing our modifying almost everything. You keep the trigger frame, ram and valve, after that for a good impulse you replace everything else
Get rid of 3/4 of the top tube and you can trim just about half of the aluminum off of the body in total. Give it a lpr, go with any other hpr instead of the max Flo. Shorter bolt to go with the shorter top tube
